The author whom I speak of in the title is a good author, and director. I rather like him.
His scientific approach is non-existant. Rather, he tries to approach things from the standpoint of reality. Science does not govern reality. Science barely explains reality. Science is self-serving. Reality just IS. really doesn't matter what you say or do.
Perhaps it is the nature of humanity to be afraid of things that can't be explained away, to deify and glorify that which seems to be, but cannot be explained. We feared and honored thunder and lightning for a very long time. And, because of our lack of fear, we tend to get zapped by it. Huh. Hiding in caves might have been wiser.
Also, there are things out there that cannot be scientifically measured. The measurement itself is the problem. Math is also a problem. While it does help quantize, thats turn into quantities, a number of things, it still doesn't explain alot. Chemists get lost due to math. And math can out math itself.
Not to mention, our science can't even figure out what it believes in. Psychaitry and Psychology were unaccepted, now they are a large portion of our medicine. Hypnotism, and Dr. Mesmer, were frowned and hated, even recently, but now Hypno-Therapists are some of the more successful therapists in the world.
And poisons, molds, rots, things we hate and loath, are injected into our bodies WILLINGLY with POSTIVE RESULTS.
Pig Botulism reduces wringles and lifts our face.
Penicillin is... well, that one was too easy.
We use viruses to conduct our genetic research. And some forms are very effective bacteria killers.
BLEACH, AMMONIA, and whatever is in CLR. Deadly chemicals, they destroy pretty much everything... so we harness that. We use it. And now, brighter whites, cleaner clothes, squeakier floors, CLEAN PIPES AND STUFF!!!
Now, why can't we just buckle down and try to research Psychic Phenomena.
We say we do. But you can't make them happen in laboratory settings. You can't produce them consistently. You can't always perform them with all people.
Then again... We can't create a black hole in a laboratory. We have to observe it, relatively speaking, in it's natural enviroment. We can't consistently produce many quantum events, but we believe in them. And while we know people can be allergic to shellfish, or cats, or dogs, or (and these are the people I feel sorry for) Peanuts or Cheese Cake (lactose intolerant), many of us aren't. YET DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE CANNOT RECREATE THESE WITHOUT THE RIGHT PEOPLE, WE ACCEPT THEM AS A FACT.
Come on, guys. How long are you going to believe the world is flat without looking for the edge? How long are you going to just go running to science when you see something weird. When can I convince you that, hey, it doesn't matter what causes the sky to be blue, but it does matter WHY it is blue. And no one can tell me that without resorting to some kind of god. I used to think I did, but that was only how it was blue.
To Mr Crichton, whom will never read this, WOW. Theories, speaches, and many idea's, not to mention you myriad of different works and collaberations, continue to boggle the mind. One of the genius elite. Though, unfortunately, you may not be as famous as you deserve till after your death, like many, many other members of the genius elite.

So, there is this Lt. Watada. He refused to go to Iraq, and made a couple of, for people of the military, illegal speaches.
He said he was refusing to obey an illegal order. Because the war is illegal.
I may have broached this subject, but all wars are legal. Sovereign right as a nation. Something most of us "civilized" people seem to forget.
Some other "progressive" sites said that the war was illegal due to the president's basis on unfacts (some even said lies), and I found too many while looking for the name of that thing which says soldiers are not only free, but obligated, to disobey an order that breaks or violates laws, treaties, or the constitution. (If anyone can give me the name of that particular thing, I'd be most appreciative.)
Let's get this straight. He was looking for WMD's, and diposing of a terror sponsoring dictator. Assuming you say no contacts with Al-Queda, and that's probably not true, the Danish found Mustard gas and mortar shells. That's a WMD. Chemical weapons are the original WMD. Nuclear weapons were re-classified as WMD, though they were formerly Atomic Weapons. We knew he already used them. Okay, allegedly, there is a slight chance that some outside operators may have come in and killed all the kurds. And there is a chance that JFK's assasination was a communist plot. Oh, here's a thought! I think with a bit of research and creativity, I can create a viable communist conspiracy around JFK's death. Or perhaps a Suicide Conspiracy.
While I'm the first person to credit sound conspiracies, not everything is convoluted. Sometimes it was just an unhappy american who killed the person. Maybe the holy grail was burned in a tavern fire. Maybe our intelligence was sound, and tracks were hidden. And maybe I'm a Right Wing nutjob. My teachers think I'm a liberal extremist.
Maybe I'm just a Warmonger. Possibly. Me and The Rough Rider himself.

Wow. Just WOW. It has been a VERY long time since I actually posted here. Almost a Year.
Okay, since no one reads it anyway, quick my life Re-Cap.
JENN:
Got back with jenn. Fell out quickly. Couple of close encounters, minor together/aparts, final fall out, big pregnancy scare, almost got together again, called her a whore, and we are kaputs. Barely friends. She's not a bad person, I am. I will admit my faults.
MISC RELATIONSHIP STUFF:
Fell for a girl, she had similiar boyfriend issues as I had with jenn. They stayed more together. Never had guts to ask her out. She went to boot camp in army.
Didn't hook up with girls at party, though not for their or my friends lack of trying. My mad womenzorskillz are non-existent. Too shy, I guess. And I can be a jerk.
FRIENDS:
Between last post and this one, I grew close to a few of my previously sattelite friends. Cameron Parry, Elyias Amaya, Travis Ratliff. Good guys. I actually spend a large portion of my time either sleeping, or hanging out with them. Cameron gets us into trouble, Travis laughs with me at the trouble, and Elyias... Well, I'm not sure WHAT Elyias does. Comedic Relief/Bat Cave.
Grew apart from some of my other friends. They went down a path I don't agree with.
SCHOOL:
Hehehe. Senior Year. I GRADUATED. Oh Yeah, Diploma. I didn't get honors, or NSF, or nothing. I did too much slacking. Grr to me. Smartest person in class gets smacked by slacker-ness. Okay, Second. Greg Saylor, good guy, might be smarter.
POLITICS:
Oh, god, where do I start.
Still hate Hillary Clinton. Sorry. She slips into a southern accent whenever she's not infront of a hoighty toighty crowd. She panders. The Devil once remarked, and I'm 18 so I can say this, "That is one cold ass bitch." I know, I was there thwarting an Apocolypse.
Fred Thompson is a good guy. Actor not withstanding, he has been in politics constantly for a long time. I'm proud to say I will support him when/if he chooses to run.
Bruce Willis is Bruce Willis. He makes fun of Al Gore. BYAAAHHH!!!

Hey. It's been toooo long since the last time I posted something. Okay, Let's run a quick list... I will need a real list for a longer list.
Hillary Clinton is still a horrible person. Horrible. Utterly and entirely. I'll detail eventually, when I have time.
War in Iraq is proceeding better then I expected. It's like fighting a guerilla war. Not easily winnable. All you idiots yelling at bush? If you think you can do better, go there yourself. I'm sure our soldiers will hold fire when they use you as a meat shield. Or not... Probably not.
Lebanon... Just go in there, take their rockets, and kill them. I hate to say this, but INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE DYING. THIS IS AN ACT OF WAR ON ISRAEL. LEBANON HAS NOT TRIED TO STOP IT, SO THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE. If mexican terrorists did this, we'd give them 2 days to do something about it, then we'd go in there, execute the terrorists, and take over mexico till they get their act together. Because it's our right as a soveriegn nation to wage war for no reason, and to react to aggression. And take any land we can secure. Including... all... of... both american continents. We have the right to do that. And they have the right to fight back or invade. And other countries have the right to choose sides and duke it out to.
Wisconsin Proffesors... Well, guillotine. I'm sick of him already. Guillotine. Like what should be done to sadaam by his former people, and should be done to Osama bin Laden... But I feel better knowing we were hit by a smart if weasly S.O.B. He's hiding somewhere.
Seperation of Church and State? Well, I hate organized religion. I haven't been to church in a long time. I don't say Grace over dinner unless being polite. I don't pray out loud. But here is the thing. It even bothers me to see a cross prominent. But WTF people? YOU ARE INFRINGING ON OTHER PEOPLES RIGHTS WHEN YOU MAKE THEM TAKE DOWN THEIR CROSS. A 498763 foot tall cross? Solid silver? Blinds little children? THEIR RIGHT... As long as they but red blinky lights per tower standards. And I quote "The Goverment May Make No Laws Regarding The Establishment or Practice Of Religion." That includes removing crosses because they are crosses...

This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to other states. Someone has to try to make a difference for these animals--just because they don't have the ability to talk doesn't mean that they don't have the ability to feel and the right to live! What if it were your pet? It would be great if Myspace could be used for something really beneficil, and could make a difference in the world. Please pass the word along and post this so that as many people can see this as possible. And for those of you who live in California...

Colleges and schools tend ot teach morals, ethics, etc. Your teachers advocate "monogamy", "abstinence", "safe sex", "morals", "ethics". If you don't agree, you are discliplined. Your views are flawed, according to our authoritarian "Teachers" and "Proffessors." Questions, tests, quizes, all geared toward an exact response, considered the "correct" response. Tests ask one correct answer questions, seemingly easy but not always correct. We label good and bad.
Why? A simple questoin. Simple answer. Because we have let other points of view try and raise our youth. Because even if it is morally right, they believe that we are wrong. So each generation continues to be fogged in, and lob weird accusations of immorality at each other, though that action, and what they believe is right, is in essence bad and harmful. Much like linking Satan, The Devil, with Music, Art, Drama, as was done in the not so distant past. And tends to be done today. Playwrites, violinists, artists, all deomns. And so we do demonize or sanctifiy to sainthood and senate other mortals, erring, and ultimately self-serving humans. What we call evil.
Take that home. Chew on it. It's delicious. It's good for yhou. And is incredibly common amongst both adults and teens. We are no longer capable, by thier recognizing, of discerning a moral on our own. if it's not discernable, why is it a moral? Where did they learn it?[/td]
Wrote this for Psychology class. If I didn't ace the hard facts part of that class, I'd fail. I'm not big on the teachers incredibly incredibly close minded ethics. Oh well, you learn where you can, right guys?

Academic Decathalon... Sounds painful. It is, sometimes. Like when they decide to start early, for a timed essay, about 15 min early, and your almost 8 blocks away... But I got Jose calmed down enough to do well. He was freaked over how he blew his speach.
I DID NOT blow my speech. Inso fact, I aced it. I mean, I didn't prepare a speach. I researched much of Machiavelli. Then spoke about him. Not the negatives, but who he was, how he thought. Then we have an impromptu speech. I chose if I could go back in time and BE anyone, who and why. I chose him. I'd make a few subtle changes. Marriage. To not die a lonely and sad death. That would be about it. He was a great man. Sad, misunderstood, and immensely disliked during and after his life, but wonderful.
And my Interview was good. I had one engaging judge, and one who sat and absorbed it all. And in my obituary, I would want it to say "He was a very evil man. But he had an immense heart, despite this. He looked into the heart of everyone, and saw them as they were." I was actually asked by them if I died tomorrow, what would I want in my obituary.
Now the essay, that was interesting. God, how annoying. Oh well.
I believe it has come time to sleep.
I'm not sure if the kings are going to win this hockey game. It's tied, with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd and last period. We'll see.
L.A. is ahead 1 pt with 2:30 to go.
LA WON!!! YEAH!!! I'm a big anaheim fan, but I'd prefer L.A. to win then a non-socal team. So good night everyone.

School has returned as of today, or monday, if I take too long writing this. It is almost midnight. I must be up at seven, and awake inside of a few seconds. I have much on my list of to-do's this year. I have a sheet of resolutions literally a page long. So I guess I should start, though the kissing one is postponed until Ocotber, maybe destroyed. More on that in a minute.
I must say, before I forget, that there is much more to any single thing then we realize. Pick up any object on your desk and think of what you see. Then what you know about it. Then close your eyes and feel through it. What it feels. A certain depth untangible. But it's there. And soothe, it's more then we could readily realize. But it's not just objects. Everything has that quality. People, animals, and I believe emotions to be tangible in the same way. I plan on learning more about animals and people through this newly realized talent, and idea.
Well, back on more realistic things, Jennifer, love of my life for almost 3 years, may move away from me. From So-Cal to Boulder City, Nevada. Kinda far. I'm sad, but that's what happens in October. So it is my goal to figure out how to make her remaining time awesome. I might lose her when she's there. She doesn't believe long distance relationships work. I must say, before I forget, that there is much more to any single thing then we realize. Pick up any object on your desk and think of what you see. Then what you know about it. Then close your eyes and feel through it. What it feels. A certain depth untangible. But it's there. And soothe, it's more then we could readily realize. But it's not just objects. Everything has that quality. People, animals, and I believe emotions to be tangible in the same way. I plan on learning more about animals and people through this newly realized talent, and idea.
Well, back on more realistic things, Jennifer, love of my life for almost 3 years, may move away from me. From So-Cal to Boulder City, Nevada. Kinda far. I'm sad, but that's what happens in October. So it is my goal to figure out how to make her remaining time awesome. I might lose her when she's there. She doesn't believe long distance relationships work. Here is a valid question. When a friend, close or otherwise, needs help but doesn't know it, and it's hard for you to give it, when You don't want to help, and your love would dissapprove, etc, do you still help? And how do you do it? Forcefully? Coersively? Do you compromise your values to help them? Do you hurt yourself to help them? Do you risk everything? I'd like to think that I am good enough to do it. And I plan on trying...
In anycase, This will become very interesting.
So I have begun writing again. Poems, Stories, and this nice little piece on the eradication of Christmas from December. But I can't publish any here, as I don't have any of the hard copies with me, and I didn't write them on this comp.

Christmas removed in stead for Holiday. I'll kill the secularists myself. That's wrong. But my midterm papers on it, so I'm not going to kill my arguments on it now. I'll type it up and post it when I finish.

Speaking of spin, I have discovered making myself dizzy. In the middle of english today I stood up and started spinning. Yup. Fun. Alot.
And viking tug of war will make it's comeback soon. I said so.
Halo Tourney is being set up in the boron/desert lake/etc area. Were not sure on details and such, but we are pretty sure we can get it all set up. No entry fee as of publishing and location undetermined. Date undetermined.
Tomorrow I see who's the most dominant halo player in this area. Me, Or elyias amaya. I'm going to brush up on all my halo and halo 2 stuff. Actually, starting now.

Upon being ordered to Research The Teenage Mind in our computer lab today, I decided to sit amongst these creatures, and study them first hand. Here is what I have been offered as evidence.
Patriotic Middle Popularity
Upon being proven wrong, they will dig into popular myths and beliefs to dispute cold hard facts. Head strong, annoying, and effervescent in personality, Clashes with intelligent types unless they need intellectual assistance. I tolerate them.
Militarily Patriotic Idioms
Open minded, but stubborn on their moral views. Will not listen to reason beyond it's use to twist upon others. I dislike most of these types.
Jock-like low brow, high popularity.
Dis-like intellectuals. Violent, Don't listen to reason. Physically, if not mentally, superior then normal people. Will fail in life. I generally dislike these particular teenage organisms.
Athletic High Brow, Hig Popularity
Smarter then your average athlete, also shown to be better at life, more agreeably tempermented. Will concede defeat, but not without due cause. Honorable. Generally liked by most.
Low patriotic, low intelligence, labled trouble maker.
Generally smarter then appearing, really deserving the title mild intelligence, generally more likely to fall under the influences of mind altering subsances then any group except low brow jocks. Will stand up for what they believe, more likely to concede defeat if proven wrong. Generally looked down upon. Don't deserve the trouble maker label, trouble looks for them. Can beat jocks in fair fights. I generally like or respect them.
Poser idealed, unreformed posers.
Poser, Adj, A person trying to change themselves to fit in with a particular popularity group. Usually works so long as they are only among that group. Generally mess up several times before traumatic event either changes them into, or returns them to their orginal, groups. Generally better looking and smarter then popular, but un-discovered talents and social scorn drive them.
Self Idealed, Reformed Posers.
Decidedly better poser types, found who and what they are and returned to it. May not be what is originally percieved, but will make them happier. Appears to be happy and carefree on surface. WARNING: Do not try and correct these organisms, they respond violently with tampering. I generally strongly enjoy their company in mild doses.

Not posers, despite modern theory, are themselves and do what they enjoy. Usually of higher intelligence, mild creativity, and high self esteem. May go streaking just to streak, may be Amoral, despite morality, and appears strange. Enjoys art, the opposite sex's company beyond physically oddities. Awesomeness abound.
Myself Falls into this category, slightly.
Conclusion
I hate teenagers sometimes, they are hard to study.

From this day forward I plan on posting, or publishing it as blogger calls it, the articles of my local journalism class that have merit, whether or not they agree with my idea's. Fair and balanced. I vow that I am, and will, make sure they recieve full credit. Also, I vow that I will not edit their articles, short of obvious spelling mistakes. Like to, too, and two. Other then that, I'm not going to change articles, I'm going to publish all decent articles, etc. I will try and post both liberal, conservative, and moderate articles. I, ofcourse, will get their permission before posting a thing.

Jack Thompson. He's the scary guy who was born with a stick up his butt. I don't like him. I wouldn't mind his death. Simply because, he is trying to tell the video game industry what is right, and what is wrong. He did this with movies first, I believe. There was the Hot Cofee incident. (Incidentally, there was nothing wrong with that, it being a M rated game, no one under 18 is supposed to play it), and he's targetted others before and after. He's harrasing webcomic artists, buddy icon sites, and other writers about their critical views of him. Examples? Here we go.

Radical is Radical is Radical is Bad. Simple as that. There would be no ripple in the force, so to say.
Now, I am going to talk about the Xbox 360. Or rather, I'm going to send you over to Major Nelson. He's the Xbox live boss, and seems to be an all around good guy. He can also tell you other things, steer you to links, etc. He was also the first to corpse hump on Halo 2 on the Xbox 360. I wonder who got the first kill?

Oh, My, God. I just posted!!! ... Okay, that's out of my system. And if I do that again, please. Reprimand me violently.
I have been messing around, and that's when I was told, again, to play football. So that's what I'm doing. I need to go to tomorrow's practice. And stuff. I don't actually know, but I'll find out.
Also, I'm in Honor's US history, reading out of the most blatantly liberally biased text book I've ever seen. Even my teacher *very liberal, but fair* said that it was ridiculous. Oh well, that's my sit down class with Jennifer *says name with a venerated context*...

This is another broad news post, and since i have 0 readers, period, I feel safe in saying that I'm angry. Mike LeClerc was traded off for a conditional draft pick in 2007... 2007!!! Steve Ruccin was also traded off to the coyotes, I think, for a player and conditional draft pick... in 2007... Whoever is doing this is going to regret it. Leclerc is a really good player, with alot of heart. And Steve Ruccin will get the puck almost every time in a face off, the guy has lightning for hands. They are shaking up the roster in bad ways. The ducks are almost out of real ducks on the team. I'm actually really sad.
In good news, Sergei Federov and Jean-Sebastian Giguere are still there... Did I mention that Steve Ruccin has been there his entire 10 yr career? That he was the captain? That this sucks more then they can imagine? That this won't be a good year for the ducks?
